Tip of the month Sent in by Jill (www.Woolcrafting.com)
"Many people are so concerned with what they already have, or can do and want to sell. My advice is, no matter where you are, no matter who you're talking to... LISTEN! You never know when your craft selling opportunities will crop up. When you hear about something that interests you - pick it up and run with it. You never know where it might take you..." Craft resource of the month Last month's guest author, Lorri Ely, has just released a new ebook: I was lucky enough to receive a sneak preview and I was very, very impressed. It's written in a friendly and easy to read style, but is absolutely full of useful information. Lorri takes you step by step through all the necessary stages of planning your jewelry party business, legalities, creating marketing materials, finding hostesses, doing the parties and so much more. The sheer volume of information could be overwhelming, but isn't because it's set out in such a user friendly and practical way. I can't imagine that this book wouldn't be useful to anyone either planning or already involved in a jewelry party business. I've been doing craft home parties for a while now, but I still learned a lot from Lorri, and I know I'll be referring to my copy again and again. Find out more about what's in Lorri's book and get hold of your own copy here.
If you know of a useful website or resource that would appeal to my readers, please let me know about it here.
