Breast Cancer Awareness Party

Have a home party for breast cancer awareness to raise money for the cause - so many people have been affected by breast cancer and would love the opportunity to support a fundraising effort.

  • Invitations - do these on pink paper or card - perhaps with a pink ribbon in the corner.
  • Decoration - well, it's got to be pink, obviously! It also makes sense to have some brochures or pamphlets available about breast cancer.
  • Crafts - how about designing a specific cancer awareness range? Jewelry makers will find it especially easy to do - either design ranges in pink, or add the pink ribbon symbol to your items - as a charm, a real ribbon, or however you like.
  • Food - in keeping with the pink theme, you could serve pink lemonade or pink champagne. Savoury foods could include salmon dips, shrimps on cocktail sticks or pink coloured crisps. For sweeter alternatives use marshmallows, pink sweets or pink chocolate.
  • Gift wrap - Although it's not necessary, if you like to offer giftwrap anyway, then you know what colour to go for! Also pop a pamphlet about breast cancer in each bag.

Don't forget to let everyone know that a percentage of the sales will go towards a cancer charity. You could also donate an item as a raffle prize to raise even more money.
