No matter what your main outlet is, selling Christmas crafts is a lucrative business. Make the most of your Christmas sales by following these tips.

  1. Sell Christmas crafts, not just crafts at Christmas
    Bump up your festive sales by adding a range of Christmas items. A few examples are: doll and bear makers can add Christmassy outfits; wood, metal and textile crafters can add Christmas decorations to their range; and beaders can create gorgeous Christmas party pieces and beaded ornaments.
  2. Make gift giving easy
    Busy Christmas shoppers are looking for ways to make their lives easier, so providing a gift wrap service and/or gift tags can help win them over. Offering small gift bags or boxes to place jewellery and small items is also a great idea.
  3. Offer suggestions
    Find out who a customer needs to buy gifts for and help them out by making useful suggestions.
