Home Party Checklist
I’ve had to create a home party checklist for myself to use each time, as I'm a complete sieve-brain who can’t remember anything unless it’s written down. There’s nothing more frustrating than forgetting something you need for your home party to run smoothly! And I find that the more craft home shows I do, the more extra bits and pieces I seem to need... Craft home party checklist For your display - material to cover table(s)
- display stands, boxes, etc
- crafts for sale (plus extra inventory if you have)
- mirror (if applicable)
Stationery - Business cards
- Leaflets to get new bookings
- Prize draw survey slips
- Gift vouchers
- Order forms
- Receipt book
General bits and pieces - Diary or calendar
- Calculator
- Money box or bag
- Plenty of change
- Paper bags
- Gift boxes
- Pens (lots!)
- Spare price tags
I also pack my pliers and some scissors in case I need to make any quick repairs or adjustments – depending on your craft, you might also need to bring certain tools or supplies. If you intend to personalise your crafts there and then, make sure you bring whatever you need to do that. For workshops or demonstrations In addition to most of the above lists, you’ll also need: - enough tools for everyone
- enough materials/kits for everyone
- little boxes or trays to keep tools and supplies in
I hope my checklist helps you – just add to it as you discover new ‘essentials'. You can print off this blank Home Party Checklist to use for yourself if you like.
